I have been a professional reader for over 20 years and I know what it takes to run a successful tarot business. A successful reader concentrates on three areas everyday of their lives in order to grow their business.

The first area of focus is on KNOWLEDGE. The more a tarot reader learns the more successful they will be. Knowledge is truly power and many tarot readers just learn enough to get by. The best readers are constantly studying books, attending conferences, and growing as a reader. In order to stand out from the lazy readers you need to become an expert in your field.

You also need to focus on MARKETING. So many readers are great at the intuition, card interpretation, and client relations but they fail miserably on the marketing of their business. You need to read books and study programs about marketing, advertising, and small business issues such as taxes and bookkeeping. If you fail at this part of your business you will not have a business for long.

And the third area to focus on is PRESENTATION. How you look, talk, and present your readings all work together in creating rapport, trust, and value with the client. Yet too many readers neglect this part of their business. You need to be the type of person that draws people to them like a magnet. You also need to come across as a professional.
