Can Anyone Learn To Be Psychic?

The one question I get all of the time is whether anyone can learn to be psychic. The answer to that question is no. no one can learn to be psychic. Everyone is already psychic. All they have to do is remember what it was like to use their psychic powers. This is because everyone, when they were child, was already psychic. We were all born that way. After awhile, society and culture knocked it to the background and we all forgot how to use it.

Just recently I held a psychic development class. Several parents had brought their kids to the class. In the part of the class where we played psychic games the kids scored way higher to than adults. In fact, the younger the child the better they did on the tests and games than the adults.

One of the best ways to awaken this side to you is to become like a little kid again. Don’t be scared of making mistakes or being wrong. The reason adults do so poorly on many ESP games and tests is because of fear. Fear of both failure and judgment of their peers. When doing an ESP game just let your self go and let your mind fly! Have fun…after all ESP testing is not about testing at all. It is a game and should be fun. The more fun a person has while developing their psychic side the more fun they have.

Remember this: you are already psychic. The Divine is ready to speak to you. Listen deeply for it and have fun. The spirit of God is within you and it wants to speak to you. All you have to do is let yourself go and become like a little child.

“And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 18:3

Psychic Fair Fun

Psychic Fairs can be a fun time for clients. There are exciting lectures onĀ  a broad range of topics. There are a whole slew of readers to choose from. Vendor tables dot the floor of the convention with interesting wares like tarot decks, statues, jewelry, and crystals. I have done tons of psychic fairs over the years from real big convention center events to small events in strip malls. I love them because I get a chance to hang with like minded people and feel the love from fans, friends, and new friends.

This last weekend I was in Massena, NY for a Psychic and Holistic Fair. It was a fun and interesting event that saw me meet many interesting and loving souls. It made me realize that the universe has many wonderful people in it with many different connections to the divine. i thank God for the opportunity to get to know and love them all. It is my hope to meet many of you at fairs in the future.

It wasn’t a very busy fair but I still considered it successful. That is because I have a full proof plan in place that insures that I make money from a psychic fair long after it is over. As I am back in my office the Monday after this fair I am looking at a long list of names and email addresses that I am adding to my mailing list. I love my plan and it always works!

For all of my fans who do readings and work psychic fairs, or want to work them, you might want to check out my Complete Guide to Working Psychic Fairs. It has my complete plan in it for making a ton of cash after the fair is over. It works and it is fantastic! It usually is $49.99 but is on sale for the next two weeks at $29.99. Check it out here!

God Wants to Talk to You

One of my biggest problems with dogmatic religious thinking is that the very people who tell you that God is all-knowing and all-powerful will put restrictions on God. They will tell you that God cannot speak to humankind or that God will not grant visions to His children. In fact, I would say that they feel that God is pretty impotent unless He acts in their own limited understanding of who and what God is. The God of this universe wants us to know that we are special and that we are divine. We are truly the children of God and He wants us to know that and live it.

I cannot subscribe to such a quiet and unknowing entity. If God is really love then God does not want us to wander around aimlessly throughout our life. He wants us to learn ways to communicate with him. We can do this by prayer and meditation. We can use and perform rituals in our life that will bring His presence into our life. He has given us Holy Writ and angels to help us on our path.

What it comes down to is that God can speak to us in any way He wants to. It could be through cards, the palms of your hands, gem stones, and prayer. After all, we are talking about an all powerful being here so stop putting restrictions on Him. If he wants to speak to you he will through any means available. All you have to do is open up your heart and hear what he has to say.

Angels, Angels Everywhere

One of the biggest spiritual truths that I know to be a fact is that angels exist. I get asked everyday about angels and what they are and what is their function. First of all, angels are reaching out to you right now. You need to realize this and get ready for what they want to tell you. All you have to do is open your mind, your soul, and your heart to the fact that angels love you, that they exist, and they will appear. I have seen it again and again.

I find that many people are not ready for an angel to appear to them. They feel that they are not worthy to see angels. Once they realize that they are special and that they are divine then the windows of heaven will open up for them. That is the key to angel interventions and visitations: believing that you are worthy to experience such things. Once you know that you are a child of God and that you are truly divine then other divine beings, like angels, will reach out to you.

The Tarot Should Empower

Pick a card, Any Card

One of the things that make tarot reading unique is that it is a tool that makes us face our problems head on. A good reading can show us the future that is going to happen to us if we don’t do anything to change it. It is up to the client to do something about it. They can either make it better or change it by making better choices. The cards are not sent in stone. Your future is in your hands and you need to do something to change it. Now that you see your future you can do something to fix it, make it better, or react to it in a more productive way.

Another way the tarot can empower us is to give us choices. A good reader can tell a client, through the cards, what will happen if they make certain choices. In another words, if a client does choice A what will be the outcome? If a client makes another choice then what direction will that take them? In this way a person uses the Tarot and the tarot doesn’t use them.

Many people get a reading a sit back and wait for the things to happen to them that learned from the reading. This creates a situation where the tarot is a crutch for the client. Unfortunately this situation is encouraged by many tarot readers who want people to rely on them for all of their problems. This places the responsibility of ones life on the shoulders of the tarot deck or the divine. It is a weak willed thing to do and it takes away from our God given right to be become self sufficient creatures capable of living up to our full potential.

The tarot is a tool that can help make a person stronger, happier, and more joyful. It can only do this if the client is willing to use the information it gives them to become that way. You are the master of your own life.

The Devil Made Me Do it: Tarot and the Devil

One of the worst ideas to ever come down the pike is that when you do something wrong that the devil made you do it.

The truth of the matter is that the devil doesn’t make you do anything. He can suggest, push, shove, or nudge but in the end it is you make the choice to do wrong. Placing the blame on the devil takes responsibility away from us and places it square on the head of someone or something else. I say someone else because we often blame what we do wrong on our own devils: our peers, our spouse, our kids, or even our boss.

The Devil card in the tarot has been the “proof text” of people that want to prove that the tarot is evil. I have heard it reasoned (and I use that word loosely) that the Devil card being in the tarot proves a satanic connection of sorts. This card does mean a different things to different people depending if you believe that the devil is an actual entity or not. But almost all tarot readers agree that the devil card is mostly about us and our choices then it is about ‘ol cloven foot.

Tarot expert Rachel Pollack has said that the Devil Card represents enslavement. I believe that this is correct. Look closely at the card pictured above. It shows two people chained to the devil with the chains around their neck. The chains are loose and the only ones keeping them chained is themselves for nothing is preventing them from taking the chain off their neck.

This card represents those things that “chain” us down. Bad habits, alcohol and tobacco addictions, bad belief systems, bad relationships and other types of behavior are all things that chain us down. I don’t think it is a coincidence that the first step to recovery from any of these things is to acknowledge that you have a problem. First comes responsibility then comes the treatment and the help.

This Devil Card is a very self reflective card. It asks us to look at our lives and to take out those things that our holding us back. What chains are holding you down and how can you get rid of such negative things?

The Devil Card is one that we all have to deal with. The card is not evil but the things that it represent are self destructive and detrimental to our physical and spiritual growth. We bring such things on ourselves. But we don’t have to fix it by ourselves. If the tarot teaches us anything it teaches us that we can not make it through life alone. If you need help then get help.

And rid yourself of enslavement.

The Tarot is Real Magic

As a professional reader with over 20 years of experience I am still amazed at the Tarot. I am amazed at it’s insights, the deep meanings of each card, the spiritual components of each beautiful picture.

The Tarot changes and mutates constantly into something new. These symbols are living and breathing symbols that change as the reader changes. They change as society changes. And they change as our understanding grows. These aren’t just pictures on a piece of cardboard. These are symbols that touch us to our very core.

Take the Strength Card for example. This is the most spiritual card in the tarot. From the lemniscate above her head to the beautiful robe she is wearing…wow! Every symbol on this cards suggests the importance of spirituality in our life. There is also a sense that love is the real strength in life. She is not subduing the king of beasts with a lasso or with a gun. She is taming it with love not force. That is the message of the Strength card.

At least it is now.

When I first started reading cards I stood by the text book meanings. One of the books gave the definition as:

“Strength or Lust is about passion, living life, making love, playing games and sports. We have extra energy to do the things we want that are not about the basic necessities of life; earning money, finding food and shelter, etc. Nature has been tamed, but we still want to test ourselves, or test our abilities against others. Not having this energy, we shamble through life, having no interest beyond mere survival.”

There is nothing wrong with such a definition and it worked with me for awhile. But since that time I have grown and gotten closer to the cards. It means something deeper to me and my clients now. That is why I get upset with tarot readers who feel that they know everything about the cards. The cards are never done teaching us things. When we think we have learned everything there is to know they surprise us with a new revelation.

That is the meaning of the leniscate above her head: Spirituality is forever and so so is spiritual growth.

The Tarot as a Self Help Tool

Every single day a whole new slew of self help books come out. These books repeat the same information over and over again in a new package and gives the illusion that this new book has all of the answers. After Stephen Covey came out with his Seven Habits of Highly Effective People there were hundreds of new books that copied his theme (and still are to this day) and copied his major teachings and points over and over again.

The truth is that each of these self help books are just a rehash of ancient principles and ideas. The true principles espoused in these books are of ancient origin. It is true, when dealing with the human psyche that their is nothing new under the sun. Everything old is new again is the truest statement to be made when it comes to self empowerment.

Take a look at some of these biggest titles and look at what they are based on:

*Seven Habits of Highly Effective People-The Bible

*The Secret-ancient law of Attraction

*The Power of Intention-Law of Attraction and ancient mysticism

The tarot cards embody these ancient truths in a way that no other tool in the world does. No matter the personal faith of the user the cards will accommodate those beliefs. The cards contain the secret of all true spiritual and life concepts. The cards contain truths about death, love, communication, passion, communication, change, the eternal nature (and reality) of the soul…and so much more.

Not bad for a deck of cards.
